Direct Care Worker:
Full-Time | $21.65/hr | Overtime + Bonuses + Benefits
Boise Group Homes is hiring dependable Direct Care Workers in Boise, ID. Paid training, overtime opportunities, health benefits, free meals during shifts, and company vehicle provided while working. Experience in caregiving, direct support, healthcare, or group homes is helpful but not required.

Pay & Schedules:
  • Split Shift — $21.65/hr.
  • Work half the week with built-in mid-day breaks..
 
Schedule Option 1:
  • Every other Wednesday 6:30 AM–10:00 AM & 2:00 PM–9:00 PM (10.5hrs).
  • Thursday & Friday: 6:30 AM–10:00 AM & 2:00 PM–9:00 PM (10.5hrs per day).
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM–9:00 PM (14hrs).
  • 35 hrs short week / 45.5 hrs long week.

Schedule Option 2:
  • Every other Wednesday 6:30 AM–10:00 AM & 2:00 PM–9:00 PM (10.5hrs).
  • Thursday & Friday: 6:30 AM–10:00 AM & 2:00 PM–9:00 PM (10.5hrs per day).
  • Saturday: 11:00 AM–6:00 PM (7hrs).
  • 28 hrs short week / 38.5 hrs long week.

Job Duties:
  • Provide direct care and support to residents.
  • Assist with daily living activities and routines.
  • Help maintain a safe and positive home environment.
  • Complete documentation and shift notes.
  • Transport residents using company vehicle when needed.
  • Support medication-related tasks as trained.

Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • No more than 3 tickets and no DUI.
  • Ability to pass State and Federal background checks.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to obtain State Medication Card.
  • Caregiver or direct support experience preferred but not required.
